This is my very special framed record selection.
It is the LP ring ring. A pre - abba release by RCA
Australia. Very hard to find unless you are lucky enough
to get to a record fair maybe you could pick up a bargin then.
The 2 singles are also ring ring. One is the pre-abba single and the
later released version by ABBA.

rarest of all abba products from Australia and that is the Abba doodle
art kit. The other item is a cd released only in Australia and even though it
does pop up from time to time it still seems to be a very saught after item.

This video footage has a few bits that I that I actually have not seen.In one scene anna is knocked almost over by a cop when waiting to get ito the limo and the other a reporter is chatting away to her and kindly asks her about her bottom award. He then asks if she would turn around and show them the famous bottom SHe gets emabaressed , laughs and walks off and the camera of course zooms in on that now famous area. Funny!

This one I have framed at home encased in a beautiful glass frame that was given to me by the talented writer of ABBA Let the music speak. That one was what he had on display at his book launch and I fell in love with it so much.
There are some beautiful people in this world who amaze me with generousity everyday and one is my good friend Roxanne who just gave me the rare Happy Anniversary single and the other is Chris Patrick who knows how much I love abba and especially posters and with the excption of the one directly below gave me (yes thats right) gave me these beautiful posters. The blue jeans one is my most fave of all. Love you guys !

Collecting ABBA memorabillia and what it has done to you!

As time goes on we still as abba fans need to feed on the hunger of "I must have this" or "i so need that". Sometimes its so over powering that you find your self parting with many things you care about in your collection or missing out on that dress or the much needed head of foils just to get that special item into your collection . As a farely serious collector of all that is abba especially from Australia, I find i have this problem so much I have come to conclusion that its now a serious addiction like gambling or smoking and so on. It has in part taken over a large portion of my free time. Every minute that I can get I am on the computer searching for an item that continues to elude me. Soudn familiar to any of you? I find it sad and frustrating at times but none the less I continue on with it day after day after day.....I always say to myself "when I get that mirror I will stop buying anything else" and at the time I do mean this completely and untill I get that dam abba mirror back into my collection where it rightfully belongs I intend to follow that intention fully. SO I declare myself and abba addict and its been 2 days since my last purchase. If anyone has this mirror, my one and only final purhase to help me get out of this little corner of the house that I hide in too often then please let me know ASAP.

I have very fond memories of this article that came in the Womans Weekly in 1977. I only entered this competition once and what you had to do in order to win tickets to see abba in concert was fill in the gaps of the "national" abba song with your own lyrics.

I wrote.......They make life so very easy now, they show you how with National. I was so into song writing way back then and so I was very proud of these few lines and was sure I was going to win but of course I didn't :( I stil lremember those lyrics like it was yesterday. I have just purchased this mag with the competition still intact. Who in their right mind owned this magazine back then and did not enter it. Shame on them :)

I have been lucky enough to score some reasonably cheap abba memorabillia for a change. One is a super rare abba poster prodiced and sold here in the 1970's plus abba carpet from the Netherlands and an abba dish made in Italy and was brought off a British lady.

I brought this from a newspaper add . This girls was selling a lot
abba photos from the Bandstand special. I claimed 2 at a huge
expense of 20 cents each ..... That was alot of money for a 14 year old.
Soooooo wish I got them all. I gave this to Greame from Abbamail an old abba
web fan site to -publish . wow 2007 so long ago.

I was stuck in hospital when ABBA the Movie came out and my
friend had an address of Agnetha,s that she gave me to write to her .
I did this and some time later got an envelope hand written form Sweden.
Sadly I dont have that any more but inside was this card.
I even rubbed it with a slightly with my wet index finger to see if they were real I was
so dam excited at the time. It smudged away some of the ink so I was happy.
I wrote her such a long letter about how I was no longer able to dance due
to my injuries ( I did tap and jass then I was only 15.) Next thing I knkow
Chiquitita came out and I always thought it was written about me (or hoped
anyway.) The funny things we dream up at such a young age. This is the only one
I have other than Bjorns autographed book I won at auction. Very precious indeed.

I HAVE READ ALL THE STORIES. apparently according to
a very dear friend of mine "Wayne" this building is getting ready
to be pulled down. ON the eve of this very fame concert Wayne took himself
back to that very venue with his abba t-shirt on wearing his abba hat while holding
onto his tour programe and it took him back to that very night 34 years ago.
He was not allowed to go as it was too expensive (sounds like my mum)
but he swears he could hear the echo "We Want ABBA' coming from inside.......

4 months ago we tragically lost BOB our beautufl cattle dog
to a road accident. Today I had to lay JESS to rest.
He had heart disease and picked up Kennel cough the last day or so
which collasped his lungs and he could not breath well anymore.
He had his last walk and swim this morning and a chicken wing and then he
suddenly went down hill very quickly and I rushed him to the vet. He was 13 years old and
such a wonderful little man.

Slowly over time I have collected a few beautiful pieces of abba memorabilla. Some I have had since I was a very young
little girl. There has also been very tough times finacially where I have had to sell a lot of valuable items like my Frida
perfume and so much more to help ends meet. I am a huge fan of the music of abba. I do not know their birth dates or anything as extreme as that. I have a nice little collection of abba music and all the australian releases so yes I love abba and their songs but
its the little tid bits that I love to collect so much. Of course my main aim is to complete the Astralian side of things. Meaning all that was sold here not just what was made here. SO I need to get my perfume back and so much more. ONe day I am sure I will get there. Anyway this is a lot of what I have but there is so much more that would probably nore many of you. well what do you think ? There was a copy of this poster in
Melbounres Abbaworld and it was an obvious copy.
I have had this for over 3 years and I have this thing for
smelling my old abba stuff. I am sure you know what I mean . All
my original abba memorabilla and posters magazines etc have that
distinctive old smell and I love it . Well this poster has that smell
its not at all a thick glossy poster its very very thin and fragile
and is flat finish on paper . its a yellowish tint on the reverse.
Rumours have had it that this poster is a fake and I am curious
does anyone know the truth?

Well the year has started a little quiet for the start of the 2011.
We have seen some fantastic video footage from Youtube that has
come out, some were only available in B/W and now we can
see them in full colour at long last. Some had never
been seen by the abba fan at all ..ME!!!! You can watch
these rare clips of the fab four on this Blog all you do is scroll
further down the site. All reunion rumours of abba have at last
died down and now we hope that next month will be full of BAO gossip
